A personal highlight for Wes came in 2002/03 when he became only the third batsman in SDCA fourth grade history to score centuries in successive innings, and he finished the summer with 615 runs, the highest aggregate in the association. He was third in the association batting averages and fifth in the bowling.

There were 15 other innings where Wes passed 50, while he was involved in eight century partnerships, the highest of 117 for the second wicket with Bill Economos against North Nowra-Cambewarra in 1998-99. On two occasions in thirds and once as a fourth grade opening batsman, he carried his bat through an innings.

As a bowler, Wes had a best analysis of 7/57 against Nowra fourths in 1990/91, while as a wicket keeper he twice gloved five catches in an innings against Ulladulla United thirds in 2007-08. He won the association’s Masterton Homes Consistent Player award in 1994/95 when he made contributions in second grade with bat, ball and gloves.

Wes was captain for that season, and there were also years when he led third and fourth grade teams. He served on the Club committee for a lengthy period and was president in 2002-03.

Wes's final statistics with the club were 3729 runs, 167 wickets, 155 catches and 17 stumping’s from 224 matches played in all senior grades.
