U19 Round 2

The team headed to Artie Smith last night to take on the unbeaten North Nowra. It was a low scoring game again this week, which is a testament to the quality of bowling in this competition. Norths set the pace making 65 off 20. With the ball Matty Spinks with his thunderbolts was unplayable taking 2 for 3 off 4 overs. A few stutters in the top order this week gave Norths a sniff, however Matty Higham ( 14), Kyeden Booth( 15) Ollie Ellery ( 15) and Matty Spinks (13) all contributed and a nice six at the end of the game from Ollie Ellery put this one to bed.

So we sit top of the ladder at this time - with a game next week against Basin at Artie Smith Oval - Wednesday 6.30pm.
