Weekly Wrap 4.11.23

Game Updates from the weekend! Brought to you by our major sponsor Worrigee Sports where our cricket raffle is held every Friday from 5pm. It was a rain effected weekend for most grades, some got on, while others were called off before stumps.

First Grade - The boys and Chris Regan worked very hard to get the ground playable, and were able to get on with reduced overs of 44 a side, however it was called off 10 overs early. At that stage Shellharbour was ahead on run rate and took the points. Best with the bat for us were Travis Roth and Nathan Tyrell with 36. With the ball Graham Phillis took 2 for 40. We still sit 4th on the ladder so its onto next week now !

Second Grade - washed out

Juniors

Stage 3 - Came up against a very strong batting attack from Batemans Bay. Unfortunately we were not able to chase down the target of 177. There were some positives from the game with Xavier Smith (pictured) making a really nice 63 off 61, nice Xavier! With the ball Kent Ellery was bowling some nice heat taking 3 for 7. Special mention to Harry Frew having his first season taking 2 for 11, well done Harry!

Stage 2 - washed out

Stage 1 - The stage 1 show just keeps rolling on with another win this week making 110 compared to Berry with 87. With the ball another new player this year Cooper Pitts took 2 for 6 , great work Cooper! He was backed up by Archie Richards with 2 for 8, nice Archie!
